What this list is

This page carries the current set of Mars Market mirror addresses as plain text. One address per row, each with a copy button. The three rows above are the set. There is nothing else on this page that claims to be an address. The list changes only when the operator signs a new set. Between changes, it is stable.

Where the set comes from

The operator publishes a signed list of mirrors. The signature is made with a PGP key, and the key is posted in the /d/MarsMarket sub on Dread, with the user id msk <[email protected]>. The same signed list is available from the "Verify Mirror" button on the market's own login page, so you can compare this page against the source without leaving the market.

This page reproduces the set as plain text so you can copy an address without opening the market first. It carries the set and nothing older. When the operator signs a fresh set, this page updates to match.

Reading a row

Each row is one .onion address. Four things identify a genuine one:

• It starts with the four letters m-a-r-s. That prefix is the visual fingerprint the operator chose, and every real address carries it.
• The part before .onion is exactly 56 characters long.
• Those 56 characters are lowercase base32: the letters a through z and the digits 2 through 7. The digits 0, 1, 8, and 9 never appear in a real address.
• The string ends in .onion and nothing after it.

Retyping is how people land on lookalikes. A single wrong character is a completely different store, and a lookalike usually looks fine until you have typed your password. That is why every row has a copy button. Copy the string, paste it into the address bar, and let the gate do the rest. If a row on this page ever shows a digit outside 2-7, the page is broken, not the market.

Rotation

The operator does not keep the same addresses forever. Rotation follows a fixed pattern:

• The operator signs a fresh set before the old one dies.
• The new set appears on the login page and in the /d/MarsMarket sub on Dread first.
• During the overlap, the old and the new both load, so a saved address can keep working for a while.
• When an old address stops resolving, it has retired.

This page always carries the current set. If an address you saved is not in the three rows above, treat it as retired until you have checked it against the signed list.

No numbering, no primary

There is no "primary" address and no "mirror 1, 2, 3". All three rows resolve to the identical store. Same accounts, same balances, same listings. If you switch from one row to another mid-session, you do not log in again, because the session belongs to the market, not to the address.

Any hierarchy printed next to the three rows would be invented, and this page does not invent. If another site labels one of these as the main address, that label is its own invention. Pick any row.

Old links that no longer load

When a saved address stops loading, the cause is one of three: the address has retired in a rotation, your circuit is bad, or the string was mistyped. You do not need to tell them apart. A retired address does not error loudly. It stops resolving, and the tab sits on a page that never loads.

The fix is the same for all three. Take the current set from this page, copy an address from the rows above, and run the checks on the verify page before you type a password.
