Logging in and registering
Where the login page lives
The login screen sits behind the anti-phishing gate, at any of the three addresses. All three addresses are the same store: same accounts, same balances. You can log in from any of them and you will be in the same place.
If you passed the gate on one address, switching to another one means passing it again, because the gate checks the address bar each time.
What the form contains
Username and password fields. The icon captcha: "Click on the least repeated icon to continue". A "Forgot your password?" link below the fields.
The captcha is there on purpose. A clone site can copy the form pixel for pixel. It cannot copy the check that the page you are on matches the address you typed. The gate plus the captcha is the pair that catches most lookalikes.
Before you type your password
Ten seconds, not more.
- The address bar still shows the full onion, all 56 characters plus .onion.
- The gate's printed address matched your address bar when you passed it.
- The page is the market's login screen, not something that arrived after a redirect.
If all three hold, type your password. If one of them does not, do not type it.
Registration
The sign-up form asks for a public name, a username, a password, a password confirmation, the icon captcha, and a checkbox that reads "OK, I understand."
Two practical notes. The username is the one that shows up in messages and order threads, so pick one you do not mind being seen with. The password is the one this directory cannot reset for you. There is no support inbox on this site, no "email us" button. Choose a password you will actually remember, and write it down somewhere you trust.
Forgot password
The reset link is on the login page itself. It needs the account's recovery details, which you set when you registered. It does not need a visit to this directory, and this directory cannot speed it up.
The theme toggle
The market ships in light mode by default. The moon button in the top right corner switches to dark. Both themes are the same market. Nothing changes except the colors. If a page loads in dark and you expected light, you are not on a different site.
