Where do I get a working link?
The mirrors page at the top of this site has the three current addresses as plain text, with a copy button next to each. Copy one, paste it into the address bar of Tor Browser, and hit enter. That is the whole flow.
Are the three addresses the same market?
Yes. All three are the same store: same accounts, same balances, same stock. There is no primary and no backup. Use whichever one loads.
How do I know a link is the real one?
There is a fast check and a full check, both on the verify page. The fast one takes about ten seconds: compare the address in your browser against the signed mirror list, character by character. The full one is a PGP check of that list's signature against the operator's key. If you are about to log in, do the fast check before you type a password.
Which coins does Mars Market take?
BTC, LTC, and XMR. Nothing else. No cards, no bank transfers, no fiat on-ramps inside the market. If a page asks for something else, you are on a clone.
Can I open it in a normal browser, with a VPN?
No. A .onion address only resolves inside Tor, and a normal browser does not speak the onion protocol. A VPN hides your IP from your provider, it does not translate .onion into anything. Tor Browser opens these links, and nothing else does.
Why does the first load take so long?
Your first visit to an address builds a fresh circuit through three relays, and the first request over it is slow. 20-60 seconds is normal. Do not open five tabs and reload every ten seconds, because that just builds more circuits and makes it worse.
What is the page that asks me to type characters?
That is the anti-phishing gate, and it is the market checking that you are where you think you are. On a black card in red monospace text it prints your address with six characters masked as asterisks. You type the six missing characters, looking at the address bar, not at the page. If they match, you are in. If the page shows something that does not match the bar, that is the clone introducing itself.
I forgot my password.
The reset link is on the market's login page itself, under the password field. This directory cannot reset it for you. We do not have your account, and we are not the operator.
Is Mars Market a scam?
The market is real, and it is young. It launched in January 2025, so it has less history to lean on than older markets. The clones are also real, and they look almost perfect. The checks decide, not trust: verify the address against the signed list before you put a password in, and the rest is ordinary market caution.
Do you track whether the links are up?
No. This site publishes no availability data. No uptime percentages, no online badges, no last-checked stamps, and no requests from this site to any .onion address. We can tell you the addresses the operator signed. We cannot tell you which one is answering right now.
Do I need to install anything besides Tor Browser?
No. No companion app, no browser extension, no plugin. Tor Browser opens the address and the market runs in the tab. That is the whole setup.
What is Dread?
Dread is a forum on Tor where market users talk. The operator runs a sub there, /d/MarsMarket, where the PGP key and the signed mirror list are posted. When you verify a link, that sub is the source you are checking against.
Can I use the market from a phone?
Yes. Tor Browser exists for Android and iOS, and the three addresses work the same in it. The anti-phishing gate is the same gate, the layout is just tighter. Use the same checks on a phone as you do on a desktop.
Does this site cost anything or ask me to sign up?
No. There are no accounts, no forms, no ads, no newsletter, and nothing to install. If a page on this site ever asks you to enter something, that is a bug.
