What Mars Market is
The flat version
Mars Market is a drug-focused marketplace on the Tor network. It launched in January 2025. There is no clearnet version and no app. The only way to reach it is by typing an .onion address into a Tor-capable browser. If you are looking for a website you can open in Chrome, you are looking for a different thing.
Money
The market settles in BTC, LTC, and XMR. Exchange rates are shown on the login page, so you can see what your coins are worth in the market's accounting before you commit to anything. Deposits and withdrawals happen in those three coins. There is no fiat and no card. You bring coins, you take coins.
The store itself
Behind the login there is a catalog of vendors and listings. When you buy something, the order sits in escrow between you and the vendor until you confirm receipt. If something goes wrong, the dispute goes to the market's moderators, who make the call.
That is the level of detail this page will give you on purpose. The market has more moving parts than that, and a directory that starts explaining multisig setups and finalize-early percentages from memory is a directory that is about to invent something. We stick to what is on the surface of the site.
The brand
The iconography is planets and rockets. The community is called the Martians Community, and the login page says: "Mars is a new intuitive and user-friendly drug focus market. Welcome to the Martians Community."
That line is doing more work than it looks like. The inside jokes, the community name, the little rituals of the gate, all of it is how the market holds on to the people who use it. A market is a store plus a set of people who keep coming back, and the brand is what makes the coming back feel like belonging somewhere instead of visiting a URL.
Where it is discussed
The operator's Dread subforum, /d/MarsMarket, is where the signed mirror list and the PGP key live. Dread is the forum for darknet markets. If you want to talk to other people who use the market, or you want to see the mirror list where the operator posts it, that is the place. It is also where a lot of the clone talk happens, which is why the sub is useful and the search results for it are not.
What this site does not know
We do not know who runs the market. We do not know where the servers sit, how many vendors there are, or what the next rotation will bring. The operator is anonymous by design, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something.
That is not a weakness to paper over. It is the operating condition of the thing you are about to visit, and the checks on this site exist precisely because you cannot check the operator, so you check the address instead.
